Dear Valued Customer:
We want to take this opportunity to advise you that Intercon has discovered a potential issue with the 24” and 30” Sonoma Valley Swivel Top Barstools. The affected barstools were imported by Intercon, and sold exclusively by Havertys Furniture.
The potential problem involves the bolt length used to attach the barstool seat to the legs, and could cause the barstool seat to unexpectedly dislodge from the leg assembly. While no reports of any injuries have been received, we are initiating a voluntary product recall out of an abundance of caution, in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Consumer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, and we strongly believe in the superior quality of the products that we sell. Accordingly, we are taking pro-active measures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers, and have put into place a product repair program to solve this potential problem as quickly as possible.
Affected Barstools:
Sonoma Valley Swivel Top Barstools 24” or 30” in height, model numbers SV-BS-760SW-AMR-C24 and SV-BS-760SW-AMR-C30 were imported by Intercon and sold by Havertys Furniture between October 10, 2010 and March 7, 2012.
What you should do:
If you purchased the Sonoma Valley Swivel Top Barstool pictured above from Havertys between October 10, 2010 and March 7, 2012, please contact Havertys Furniture at 1-888-HAVERTY (428-3789) Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST to schedule an appointment with a Havertys technician who will come to your home with a repair kit and install replacement bolts. The repair will not take long and will be made at no cost to you, of course.
